Imported blue Italian tiles highlighted by glimmering gold
tiles cloak the curved exterior and columns of the Quo Vadis
giving it a quiet sparkling presence. With a shipment of tiles
lost in transit, its grand opening was threatened but the
deadline was met and show went on.
Immediately and immensely successful, million of dollars
would pass through the Quo Vadis' box office. Thirty-six years
later revenue declined to a trickle and the last ticket was
sold.
