By the time its doors were closed in 2002, the Quo Vadis had been carved up into 6 screens. "Harry Potter" was one of the last features.

The Algiers Drive-In had long ago been converted into one of the many periphery strip malls that now ring Westland Shopping Center.  They, like the Quo Vadis in its dying days, are now also struggling to survive and are plagued by numerous vacancies and a declining customer base.  The suburban commercial zeitgeist that once blessed them has moved on to greener pastures leaving behind silence and increasing abandonment.
