The landscape of Detroit is currently being reshaped by three
large construction projects as Detroit's highly profitable casinos build their
new hotels and facilities. When completed 1200 new rooms will be added to
Detroit's growing hotel space. Lack of rooms has long been a detriment to
the region's ability to host conventions. Click the picture of the rising
Greektown Casino Hotel [at right] to see progress pictures of all three casinos.
