On the plus side of the super bowl and the impact it has on the local economy along with other events.

One of our restaurants close by the arena but not really, like 2 miles away, served 2600 meals.

Normally we stay open Friday and Saturday night until midnight but in this case we ran two days straight without closing and had a constant line a block long.

We had to limit the menu to just baked chicken or jerk chicken with yellow rice and beans and boiled cabbage,$9,and the portion actually feeds two.

That is an example of why it is important for a city to create and hold events,it is not specifically the event,it is the money it pumps into the local economy.
