VANITY BALLROOM

Detroit's last public ballroom, the Vanity featured Toltec and Aztec pyramids that separate promenade from ballroom.

Depredations of scavengers cannot detract from the beauty of the Vanity.  Like many of the auditoriums of its time, it served as a rock venue in the early seventies.
