Detroit Race Course

Until the 1980's horse racing held the monopoly of legalized gambling in Michigan. The advent of Native American casinos was followed by Casino Windsor and the coming of  the Detroit casinos.  Already fading as a gambling venue, the spread of legalized gaming doomed the DRC.
