Fairlane Mansion

Not the entrance to Batman's cave, the boat house to the Fairlane Mansion nonetheless has a pirate cove look to it. It once led into the Rouge River where Henry Ford could have traveled by motor boat to his famous Rouge Industrial Complex a mile or so downstream.

Once a country estate, Fairlane Mansion is now a forested island deep within the metropolitan sprawl of Detroit.
