The Factory That Changed the World, a Follow Up

    A year passes and behold a shopping mall called, what else, Model T Plaza now stands in front of Henry Ford's Model T Automobile Plant.

     Note the stylized Model T on the corner and the architectural attempt to mimic the legendary plant behind it. Disturbed by having a decaying plant as a backdrop, the developers had the facing side of the plant painted in colors compatible with the mall.

Nonetheless, the mall is a welcome addition to the long suffering city of Highland Park as it represents the first major investment in the city in decades.
