Canfield Street

Canfield Street, between Second and Third Avenues, was the first area to reverse the slowly occurring destruction of the fabulous 19th century homes of the lower Woodward corridor.

Benefiting from its nearness to the University Cultural Center, neighbors banded together in the 1970's to save this historic neighborhood.
