The Ste. Claire [right above] and the Columbia carried hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Canadian amusement park island Boblo over several decades. When Boblo closed, they lost their mission and were left to rot away in the Nicholson Marina in River Rouge.  Fortunately new investors were found and both boats are in various levels of restoration.  The Ste. Claire is scheduled to return to Detroit in June of 2007
