growth of traffic, new sites are being sought after and fought
over.

With the continuing restoration of the Cadillac Hotel and the
arrival of the soon to rise Griswold Condominiums to its east, interest is shifting toward a
long neglected gem of downtown Detroit, the nearby Capitol Park. A tony
shopping district until the mid 20th Century, Capitol Park fell into decline and
eventually was reduced to seedy bus transportation exchange. Is this about to
change?
