Featured Site: Rising Casinos

The landscape of Detroit is currently being reshaped by three large construction projects as Detroit's highly profitable casinos build their new hotels and facilities. When completed 1200 new rooms will be added to Detroit's growing hotel space.  Lack of rooms has long been a detriment to the region's ability to host conventions.  Click the picture of the rising Greektown Casino Hotel [at right] to see progress pictures of all three casinos.

For several year passing southbound motorists on Woodward Avenue have been treated to a changing exhibition of great art by the Billboard Project at Maplehurst and Woodward in Ferndale just north of 9 Mile Road.
