Current plans call for redevelopment of the Tiger Stadium footprint as a residential and commercial extension of the thriving Corktown area just to the south across Michigan Ave.

Long overshadowed by the Cadillac Hotel, the Commerce Building falls to make way for the Griswold, a condominium / parking complex that was previously featured in this newsletter. Also known as the People's Outfitters Building this quietly elegant downtown building's dance with the wrecking ball is nearly finished.
