You need to take a remedial reading course. I never described anyone's brain matter. As for your brain matter, it's apparently AWOL. Your google search still doesn't show any platform in this gubernatorial race that aims to cut police and fire. You just like to make things up for the sake of arguing.

Looking forward to hearing Virgil's concession speech tomorrow!

Welcome to the board doable, where nothing ever gets discussed without personal attacks from the lefties.

since Reaganomics was instituted, the wealthy have seen their share of the pie shoot up dramatically, while it shrank for everyone else. every stat in the book backs that up. hell, one of ronnie's economic advisors actually had the balls to come right out at the time and say that the goal was the "brazilification" of the united states

You need to pull your head out of your increasingly taut anal area. My brain matter is fully functional, while yours is lost somewhere in Reaganville.

Your police and fire WILL be cut. It's only a matter of how much at this point. They BOTH won't say what the truth is, that they can't avoid doing that, without raising taxes.

However, those same folks have no problem using that same argument to justify the government's extraction of wealth from the economy and returning to the private economy in the form of targeted subsidies. I refer you to rb336's recent defense of continuing Michigan's 40% Film Incentive. In that post he challenged the Senate Fiscal Agency's calculation that the taxpayers of Michigan paid $193,333 for each of the new 355 film jobs created in 2009 by arguing that the number should be more like $44,000 because they didn't include "the spin-off jobs, etc and the taxes collected from them, or the michigan income taxes paid by the actors, crew, etc."

Getting back to that WSJ commentary - it was referring to the conclusions contained in a paper about trickle-down economics that was released by Harvard's Kennedy School of Government. Apparently the paper does not support Stosh's contention that "it has never, ever worked". According to the commentary, "The paper does not argue that trickle-down economics is without merit. It’s just that it doesn’t appear to generate enough bang for the buck."

Which means, that it doesn't work. For the WSJ, that's like a heresy, almost.

    Default Deficits: Taxing The Rich

David Stockman, Ronald Reagan's budget director who once preached tax cuts, is now in favor of putting a one-time surtax on the rich. Lesley Stahl reports and finds just such a proposal on the ballot in the state of Washington.

Shh, Rb, you don't want to point out the elephant in the room to the cons here.

You are a perfect example of what I was talking about in my previous post. Lazy, lazy, lazy.

All you do is hurl insults or throw up a link to someone else's work and leave it at that. How efffing original.

If that's the best you got, stay out of the argument. If you have a problem with something I specifically said, by all means, tear it down if you can. I love arguing with liberal know-nothings. The real world kicks your ideas in the head every day.

Now, get a job, earn some money and tell us all how much you gave to the downtrodden in the name of all that is fair. Hahahaha, yeah right, you will.
Yes, and that's all you have as well. When you actually say something, perhaps I will tear it down without using "someone else's work" as you put it. What do YOU post, DOA? Liberal Know nothings? Thats your party, isn't it?

Hopefully, tomorrow will be a confirmation that the country has come to its senses and finally understands that punishing wealth creation and hard work, while at the same time rewarding stupidity and sloth is not beneficial to a free society.

Even the European socialists are waking up to this fact.
Oh, and it seems to me that you've already been rewarded . Dream on, DOA.

Not really, I don't hang out here all day like you do. Maybe you should take your own advice and get a job? It would do my heart good to see you doing something other than posting the usual lies and innuendo you and SASmith come up with.
