Default Papantonio: Too "Stoopid" to Know They're Stupid

The teabaggers are out in full force to undermine the One Nation rally scheduled for October 2nd. Among their claims is that the rally is being sponsored by un-American, communist, socialist, terrorists [[seriously, just go look at what Breitbart is saying.) Mike Papantonio talks with Ed Schultz about the fact that these teabaggers are so stupid that they don't even realize that they're stupid.

Default Ed Schultz: GOP Doesn't Give A Damn About Your Health

Obama's healthcare plan is now in effect and the GOP couldn't be angrier. Apparently they believe that it's a bad idea to make sure that children with pre-existing conditions have medical care. We're already starting to see positive results in America as a result of this bill yet the Republicans still want to repeal it. Ed Schultz assails the Right Wing for not giving a crap about Americans' health.

    Default This Election Needs YOU!

It's no secret that a lot of progressives in America are disappointed with President Obama and the elected Democratic politicians in Washington. As a result, these progressives are threatening to just stay home on Election Day this year. Not only is this anger detrimental to the Party but it could have disastrous consequences for our country. Mike Papantonio talks with author Paul Loeb who says that we have to get past our anger or else we could be looking at a Congress that is actually worse then the one we had during the Bush years.

Default Ed Schultz: GOP Unveils Their Plague of America

The GOP unveiled their "Plan of America" yesterday but as Ed Schultz points out, it reads more like their Plague for America. No new ideas, no plans for the middle class, and no common sense.

Default Papantonio Goes 4 Against 1 on CNBC, Again

Republicans want to lower the corporate tax rate to about 5.25% in order to allow companies to bring the money that they've hidden in offshore tax havens back to our country where they will then use it to create jobs and help our economy. On paper that sounds like a great idea. Unfortunately their idea is rooted in the false belief that corporations care about American workers which their actions prove they couldn't care less about Main Street America. Mike Papantonio takes on four right wing mouthpieces who blindly support Wall Street's continuous rape of America.

Boehner is now backtracking from his disastrous "Plan for America" as the American people are turning against the GOP for offering zero new ideas and simply re-packaging their old ideas. Ed Schultz blasts Boehner and the entire GOP for admitting that they have no solutions for America.

Dangers Lurk Beneath the Surface of Gulf of Mexico
In spite of what you might have read in the news, the oil in the Gulf of Mexico has not just disappeared. It's lurking on the bottom, destroying marine life and entire ecosystems. On top of that, we are now starting to see adverse health effects from BP's use of the toxic oil dispersant known as Corexit, which is being dumped into the Gulf as we speak. Mike Papantonio talks about some of the effects that we're now seeing as a result of BP's dispersant chemicals with Dr. Riki Ott, one of the leading experts on the impact of oil spills on human health.

Default RFK, Jr. and Senator Whitehouse Expose Republican Obstructionists

Recently the Census Bureau released a new report showing that the poverty rate in America has risen to a staggering 14.3 percent. In addition, we now have roughly 10% of the American workforce unemployed and that doesn't include the numbers of people who are no longer receiving unemployment benefits or who have quit looking for work. And in spite of the Republicans' claims that the Democrats are not doing enough to create jobs, the Senate passed a bill last week that would make billions of dollars available to small businesses to create more jobs for working Americans. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. discusses this bill, as well as the Senate's other efforts to decrease the number of unemployed Americans, with Senator Sheldon Whitehouse.

Default Conservatives Attack Ed Schultz Over One Nation Speech

The right-wingers are angry over Ed Schultz's speech at last weekend's One Nation Working Together Rally, but nobody's quite sure what upset them. Was it his defense of the middle class? His fact-based rhetoric? Take a look for yourself and see if you can find anything that warrants anger.

GOP darling Christine O'Donnell emerged for her first public appearance since the revelation about her past witchcraft experiences came to light in a tightly-controlled GOP publicity stunt. But as Mike Papantonio points out on MSNBC's The Ed Show, O'Donnell, with all of her crazy baggage, represents the new face of the GOP -- And they couldn't be happier about their new look.

Default Ed Schultz - The Hardest Working Progressive in America

Last Saturday tens of thousands of progressives showed in Washington, D.C. as part of the One Nation Working Together rally. That crowd was filled with teachers, firefighters, police officers, and other middle class Americans who are angry over the fact that Wall Street is getting welfare while the rest of them are barely able to make ends meet. Mike Papantonio talks with MSNBC host Ed Schultz, who gave the keynote speech last week, and he's got some ideas on how progressives can keep this momentum going through the midterm elections.

Default FDA Fails on DePuy Hip Replacement

The Food and Drug Administration has been asleep at the wheel for the last decade, thanks in part to George Bush's decision to pack the agency with his industry-friendly allies. As a result, we've seen hundreds of product recalls when inspectors and companies fail to do their jobs and properly test medical devices and pharmaceuticals. And as we're starting to see in the case of Johnson & Johnson's DePuy hip implant, the FDA and the company actually knew the dangers associated with their product but decided that consumers didn't need to know how dangerous their hip implants were. Mike Papantonio discusses the latest in a long line of medical device recalls with attorney and Consumer Advocate Ben Gordon.

Christine O'Donnell will be debating Democratic opponent Chris Coons Wednesday evening, the first in a series of debates between the two candidates. But as Mike Papantonio points out on MSNBC's The Ed Show, there are a lot more skeletons in O'Donnell's closet than just her past witchcraft.

Default Papantonio: What a Tea Party America Will Look Like

Sharron Angle had her first debate with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid this week and the Tea Party candidate told the Senator to "man up." In her mind, that must mean he should "man up" and dismantle the Department of Education, pull the US out of the UN, and allow corporations to privatize everything in America. That's the Tea Party's vision of America and Mike Papantonio appears on Ed Schultz's MSNBC show to tell us what the Tea Party's America will look like.

    Default Glaxo's Avandia Cover Up

When it comes to lying, no industry does it better than the pharmaceutical industry. By faking test results, hiding unfavorable results, and paying off the right people, pharmaceutical companies have been able to push dangerous drugs onto American consumers who pay for the company's negligence with their own health and sometimes with their own lives. Mike Papantonio talks with investigative journalist Paul Thacker who's uncovered yet another instance of pharmaceutical company cover ups, this time with Glaxo Smith Kline's blockbuster drug Avandia.
