Default Papantonio: BP - Shills, Shills, and More Shills

Even with more than 200,000 gallons of oil being pumped directly into the Gulf of Mexico everyday [[thanks to BP's negligence on the Deepwater Horizon well), right wing wackos are still clinging to their "drill baby, drill" mantra. Mike Papantonio appears on MSNBC's The Ed Show to take on the offshore drilling cheerleaders as well as explain the basics of his class action suit against BP.

Default Papantonio: Where are BP's Pals - Exxon, Chevron, and Shell?

BP's most recent containment plan for the Gulf of Mexico oil spill turned out to be a failure. With no immediate viable options remaining, the company has now thrown their hands up and is actually asking the public for their input on how to contain the leak. Meanwhile, the clean up vessels of Exxon, Chevron, and every other major oil company in the U.S. are sitting parked in harbors and not helping to contain the oil leak. Mike Papantonio appears on The Ed Show to tell us why these corporations are just as culpable as B.P. in this oil leak.

Mike Papantonio appears on The Ed Show to tell us how B.P. might go bankrupt as a result of the scope of this disaster, causing those most affected by the oil spill to never receive compensation.

Default Papantonio: Hank Paulson's Banking Problem

When the big banks in America began collapsing under the weight of their own greed in 2008, then-Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson assured us that he would make sure this never happened again. But behind closed doors he was working with the CEOs of these banks to come up with rules that would prevent the government from stepping too far into the business operations of these banks making it less likely that meaningful reform would take place. And this was his plan all along. Mike Papantonio talks about why Hank Paulson is so beholden to these big banks with David DeGraw, founder of the Amped Status blog.

Default Papantonio: BP - The Very Corrupt Side of Dick Cheney

While executives from BP, Halliburton, and Transocean were pulled into Congressional hearings today where they formed a circular firing squad, no one seemed to mention the man who was truly responsible for making sure that the oil industry was able to operate without regulations - Dick Cheney. Mike Papantonio appears on MSNBC's Hardball to tell us why he believes we might actually be able to prosecute Dick Cheney for his cozy relationship with Halliburton that led to this disaster.

    Default Animal Factory

When most Americans buy meat from their local grocery stores they give little if any thought to how that meat made it to the store. What they probably dont want to think about is that there is a world of cruelty, biological waste, and toxins that result from the current process of animal factory farming that is spreading disease across our country. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. talks about what's really going on behind the scenes in the animal farming business with David Kirby, author of the new book Animal Factory: The Looming Threat of Industrial Pig, Dairy and Poultry Farms on Humans and the Environment.

Default Papantonio: Tell the Truth - Bush Killed 3,000 Americans

Some members of the right wing media are claiming that Obama's trip to NYC to congratulate local police officers for thwarting the recent terrorist attack is a backhanded way to say "thank you." This logic is obviously not based in reality but it highlights something more important - within hours of the announcement that a car bomb had been found in Times Square the GOP immediately began attacking Obama for being supposedly weak on security even though they had no basis for these accusations. Mike Papantonio takes on the crew of Fox Business's Happy Hour to let them know which party is actually weaker on terror.
