Default Papantonio: The "I Hate Everything" Crowd

The Sovereign Citizens movement has been below the radar since their poster boy ideologue, Terry Nichols, helped murder 168 men, women, and children in an Oklahoma government building. Terry was one of those anti types who hated government, taxes and regulations. When anti-everything oddballs fly their suicide planes into tax offices, that emboldens the next anti nut to grab his rifle and kill people at the Pentagon and that in turn emboldens the other loonies to grasp onto the philosophies of groups like Sovereign Citizens.

Dr. Boyd Haley from the University of Kentucky talks with Ring of Fire's Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. about some of the recent developments in the medical community that our Ring of Fire listeners need to know about, including a possible bribery scandal at the Center for Disease Control.

Default Papantonio: The Beck "Hate Train" Crashes

Glenn Beck had his crazy train running wide open a week ago when he again urged Christians to abandon their churches and follow him. Beck usually dresses up for his audience in costumes ranging from Bavarian Border Guard uniforms to Lederhosen. I expected him to deliver his leave Christianity message dressed in black. It played well with Beck listeners when he told them that Jesus did not believe in touchy-feely ideas of social justice. Becks message is that as Christians we should abandon our commitment to shelter the homeless, feed the hungry, and heal the sick. I'm certain Beck knows his way around Mein Kampf much better than he does the New Testament so it is no surprise that he is urging his followers to abandon the kind of Christianity that embraces social justice. Beck is seeing great results in motivating his followers.

Default Papantonio: The Republicans' Fetal Position

The process in which the healthcare bill was passed has some Americans and members of congress outraged. Mike Papantonio appears on FOX News to explain that the American public doesn't care about the legislative process just as long as they get healthcare.

    Default Papantonio Explodes on MSNBC

As soon as Congress passed the Healthcare Bill every member of the GOP went certifiably insane. That insanity has led to increasing amounts of hate as Congressmen are now being flooded with death threats and the loony moonbats on the Right are growing more and more angry. Mike Papantonio of Ring of Fire appears on MSNBC opposite conservative radio host Jerry Doyle to debate the cause of this hatred.

    Default

Sarah Palin recently unveiled her "Target Map" for vulnerable Democrats in this year's midterm elections. The only problem is that she told her followers to "reload" and "take aim" at these folks. With public anger reaching all-time highs and violence against members of Congress being threatened on a daily basis, her language could be taken literally by her less-than-bright followers. Mike Papantonio appears on Fox News' O'Reilly Factor [[with guest host Laura Ingraham) to talk about how Sarah Palin is throwing fuel on the flames of hate in America today.

Default Papantonio and Senator Cantwell on the Environment

One of the biggest criticisms the right wing consistently delivers when talking about climate change is that it is going to cost us too much money to fix the problem. But according to some of the brightest minds in the world, reducing our carbon footprints and fighting climate change will not only help the environment but it would drastically improve our economy by creating new jobs, reducing the need for medical care, and creating new tax revenue. These are just a few of the things that the CLEAR Act is attempting to accomplish and Mike Papantonio recently spoke to Senator Maria Cantwell who introduced the CLEAR Act.

    Default Papantonio Slams A Neo-Nut

Corporations are trying to claim that the healthcare bill will cost them millions of dollars and the GOP is right behind them beating the deficit drum. Mike Papantonio appears on CNBC's Power Lunch to give America the truth and to expose some Republican lies.

    Default The GOP's Dirty War

The Republicans in Washington, D.C. today are by far the most obstructionist minority party in history. They've broken records on using filibusters, they've unanimously opposed numerous bills and they refuse to compromise on almost all issues. In spite of this the President continues to try to extend the olive branch to these people who are actively working to make his presidency a complete failure. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. talks about the GOP's goal of complete Democratic failure and why they need this to happen before November with Rolling Stone political correspondent Tim Dickinson.

Default Papantonio: China And The Golden Rule

Is China intentionally de-valuing their currency to make their exports more competitive in the U.S.? The short answer is "yes," but the reasoning behind it might prove that this is a necessary evil. After the GOP squandered the surplus they were left in 2000, China stepped in and purchased close to $800 billion worth of the United States' debt. Because of this, they have unprecedented power over the U.S. economy. Mike Papantonio appears on Fox Business's Happy Hour to explain why we might have to suck it up and just deal with the issue or face even worse consequences.

Default Papantonio: Steele Faces the Reality of Racism

It was like a breath of fresh air to see Whitehouse Press Secretary Robert Gibbs show his edgy side this week. He told RNC Chairman Michael Steele that the ugly problems the Republicans face have nothing to do with the race card and everything to do with their credit card. Gibbs slammed RNC leadership with that comment after Steele pleaded for a new, special affirmative protection for his job. Steele for the first time in decades acknowledged that he was a black man living in a Republican white guys world. And Republicans were victimizing him.

Default Papantonio: VAT Tax Could Save America

Will a national sales tax help reduce the deficit? Obviously that answer is "yes" and in spite of all of their whining about rising deficits the GOP just can't bring itself to the realization that without tax revenue the government will always be broke. Mike Papantonio appears on Fox New's Bulls and Bears to give us the truth about taxes and deficits.

Default Papantonio: Deadbeats Always Afraid of the IRS

Fail to get health insurance, fail to get your tax refund. Sounds like a good way to mandate that everyone has health coverage. This isn't unlike states that mandate drivers get auto insurance before issuing a license - it helps protect everyone. But of course the GOP is against any idea that contains the word "taxes." Mike Papantonio appears on Fox News' Bulls and Bears to tell us why this is a great plan.

Default Papantonio: The Newest Wal-Mart Hustle

Wal-Mart has announced that they will be lowering prices on over 10,000 items that they carry in their stores. But are they doing this to help struggling consumers or is this a business plan aimed at increasing their tanking sales? Mike Papantonio appears on Fox News' Bulls and Bears to tell us why the latter option is most likely the correct one.

Default The Tea Party's Racist Roots

If you think that the Tea Partiers are just a bunch of misinformed republicans who hate paying taxes, think again. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center who monitors the activities of extremist hate groups, the Tea Party is actually helping to strengthen the white supremacist movement in America and has helped to re-energize some specific hate groups that were on the verge of extinction. Mike Papantonio talks about this with Mark Potok, editor of the SPLCs monthly Intelligence Report.

Default Papantonio: Judicial Destruction of Democracy

While putrid Republican conduct was playing itself out during the Bush years, the Democrats and most Americans appeared to be virtually unaware of how the Grand Ol' Party was doing its most serious damage. The GOP and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce knew where they could do the most harm to democracy and at the same time improve the balance sheets for their corporate pals. It was in the Court system the civil justice system where judges are often the last line in the sand for protecting Americans from the type of reckless criminal conduct that the Bush Republicans carried out for 8 dark years. While Americans were distracted trying to figure out where the Hell the WMDs were, the Republicans were packing the federal trial courts and appellate courts from the bottom up.

Default Papantonio: The Tea Party Clown Car

Are the Tea Partiers really better educated and wealthier than the rest of society? If you mis-read the recent New York Times poll you'd probably think that but the truth is that the people who are backing the Tea Party movement are the ones with the education and money. Mike Papantonio appears on Fox Business's Happy Hour to talk about why these wealthy backers have the good sense to stay away from the Tea Party protesters who seem to be getting crazier by the day.

Default Papantonio: GOP Calls Unemployed Workers "Lazy"

Tom DeLay has lined up an entire cabal of GOP cretins like Rep. Dean Heller from Nevada and Steve King from Iowa who have expressed their opinion that lazy, shiftless American workers are so thrilled to receive their unemployment checks that they have no incentive to look for work. It's no surprise that Republicans like DeLay were the ones most responsible for moving jobs out of the U.S. to sweatshop havens like Saipan and India. In fact the little runt actually helped American corporations get tax breaks for outsourcing jobs.

Default Study Proves Liberals Are Smarter Than Conservatives

If you've seen any of the protest signs being carried around at Tea Party rallies across the country it becomes painfully obvious that this isn't the brightest group of people. From their Keep the Government out of my medicare signs to the ones claiming that Obama is a radical Muslim immigrant, the GOP and their followers have become one of the most brain dead groups in the country. And this isn't speculation. A new study actually shows that liberals tend to have higher IQs than conservatives and Mike Papantonio recently spoke to Raw Story political correspondent Sahil Kapur to shed some light onto why liberals are smarter.

Default Papantonio: Thieves on Wall Street

With financial reform finally within reach the GOP [[led by Senators Richard Shelby and Mitch McConnell) is once again declaring that no Republicans will be voting for this bill. They claim that after a year and a half of negotiations there still isn't enough bipartisanship. Mike Papantonio appears on Fox Business's Happy Hour to talk about why the Democrats need to ignore the GOP and press on with financial reform.

Default Papantonio: Prosecute Goldman Sachs Now

Executives from Goldman Sachs had to face the music this week on Capitol Hill and answer questions about their criminal practices that cost the economy billions of dollars while putting millions of dollars into the pockets of Goldman's top brass. Mike Papantonio appears on The O'Reilly Factor on Fox News to talk about why these hearings are necessary to flush out the criminals on Wall Street.

Default Kerry Kennedy: Fighting for Human Rights

Since founding the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights in 1987, Kerry Kennedy has traveled the globe to shine a spotlight on crimes against humanity being committed by governments and corporations. Her work has included leading the fight against sweatshop labor in Asia, protecting indigenous land rights for natives in South America, and working against workplace discrimination right here in America. Kerry has faced incredible odds in these fights for social justice but consistently stands up for what is right, no matter the challenges.
