Default Rudy Giuliani Explains Republican Cowardice

    Rudy Giuliani Explains Republican Cowardice
After the announcement that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and four other 9/11 defendants will stand trial in New York, right wing panic set in. Countless Republicans took to the airwaves to let the world know that they don't believe in the capabilities of the American justice system.

John Boehner cowered. Karl Rove quaked. Bill O'Reilly whimpered that he doesn't care about the Constitution.

But none could sum up the right wing cowardice greater than Mr. 9-11 himself, Rudy Giuliani. Take a look.

And don't even get them started on holding terrorist suspects in our prisons. I imagine Republicans are drawing up papers to kick Grover Norquist, Bob Barr and David Keene out of the party as I speak.

Default Papantonio: Teabaggers and Boomers Don't Matter Anymore

Voters under the age of 30 helped secure the White House for President Barack Obama. This is a generation that is feeling the effects of this recession like no other. In addition, they've gone at least 8 years without a solid ally in Washington, D.C. so when they cast their votes for Obama they were hoping that their tides would turn. Mike Papantonio discusses what this generation is going through and why they might abandon the Democratic Party if politicians don't start listening to their needs.

Default Rush Limbaugh & Sarah Palin: The Extended Cut

Rush Limbaugh & Sarah Palin: The Extended Cut
The Sarah Palin book-tour-apalooza kept trucking along this week. After rogue interviews with Oprah Winfrey and Barbara Walters, Sarah took to the airwaves with a man who not only liked her book, but called it
One of the most substantive policy books I've read
And that is no small praise considering it's coming from the leader of the Republican party, Rush Limbaugh.

We are excited to have obtained an extended cut of the interview where two of the Republicans biggest policy wonks get together and talk policy... Substantive policy! Take a look.

One of the more revealing moments came after the interview where Rush explained Palin's appeal. He said
The intellectuals don't understand her, don't like her. She doesn't analyze herself. She doesn't analyze her thoughts; she just has them and expresses them.
Damn right! Republicans don't want women who analyze things! Leave the analyzing for the damn intellectuals! Palin doesn't think! She blurts! She reacts! She rapidly expels those synapses from her brain, and maybe they make sense, maybe they don't. But it doesn't matter. And you know why? Because conservatives understand her. They understand her and her substantive policies. And if the rest of us don't? Well, I guess we're just not "rogue" enough.

    2. Yeah, AM radio is really liberal programming, try again.

Default Pap and John Perkins Discuss "Hoodwinked"

Author John Perkins is no stranger to economic scandals. After all, he started his career as an economic hitman where he would help corporations force smaller nations to go along with their economic scams so that CEOs could get a larger bonus every year. That’s why he wasn’t surprised when our financial system completely fell apart. He saw the signs a long time ago and although he has since repented his ways, it was the very tactics that he used as an economic hitman that took down our economy. Mike Papantonio talks about how all of this happened with John Perkins, author of the new book “Hoodwinked.”

Default Fred Phelps Protests Obama Children's School

If you think the crazies in the GOP are settling down, you'd better think again. They revved up their efforts this past week to protest everything from abortion to healthcare and some of these protests were even carried out at Sasha and Malia Obama's school. You can't get any more desperate than that. On the other side of the capitol, we had Michelle Bachmann leading the charge for a group of teabaggers outside the White House to condemn Obama and the Democrats for trying to get healthcare reform passed. There's no question that the entire GOP has gone off their rocker. Joining Mike Papantonio is comedian Matt Filipowicz, who keeps track of the insanity of the GOP so you dont have to.

Or, the werewolf could carry no insurance at all, wait for a problem and then buy insurance after the fact under the new laws that prohibit insurance companies from denying for pre existing conditions or raising rates for the same reason....For that matter, we could all do that...although, private insurers would go...out..of..business, leaving....only...Hmmm.

Fox News Channel host Glenn Beck talks about the recent poll that shows 26% of Americans and 52% of Republicans believe that despite any evidence, Barack Obama stole the Presidential election using ACORN. He also warns that Obama is bringing the "end of America as we know it."

Drink another glass of [[right)wing-nut kool-aid... hows that been working out for the last, oh, history of America???

Face it, right wingers, your system has been a proven failure. Only the wealthy, so called "health insurance companies" have benefited thus far.

Stop listening to your right wing pseudo-gods, like Rush, Beck, Levin, etc, and listen to what real, honest, hard working folks have to say before jumping on the corporate bandwagon.

    Default Papantonio: Generation Recession

If you’re wondering why voters under the age of 30 tend to vote by a margin of 2 to 1 for Democrats over Republicans, it might have something to do with the fact that they are hurting more during this recession than the baby boomers. Not only are they having to fight the boomers for entry-level jobs, but they’ve been hit with higher college tuitions and student loan debt than any generation before them. But these young voters saw hope in Obama and thought that they might finally get an ally in the White House who would help the country pull itself out of a recession. Mike Papantonio talks about this generational gap in America with investigative journalist Lizzy Ratner.

Default Sarah Palin Goes Rogue On Martha Stewart

Sarah Palin Goes Rogue On Martha Stewart
As you may have heard, in an interview on CNN's Showbiz Tonight, Martha Stewart had some less than flattering things to say about Sarah Palin. Stewart said of Palin
She's very boring to me, very boring. And a very, to me, kind of a dangerous person. I mean, she's dangerous. She speaks, she's, she's so confused. And anyone like that in government is a real problem.
Well, I don't have to tell you that those are exactly the type of fighting words that can make a former Alaskan Governor go rogue! And rogue she went! Watch in this exclusive video as Sarah Palin shows Martha Stewart just how "dangerous" she can be.

Default Joe Lieberman Runs From Rachel Maddow's "Point Of View"

Joe Lieberman is asked about why he is avoiding going on Rachel Maddow's MSNBC show to discuss health care reform and the public option. Lieberman states that he won't appear because Maddow has a "point of view", while he regularly appears on Sean Hannity & Fox News... which also have a point of view.

Default Papantonio: Democrats and Obama - Do or Die

The Senate is working around the clock to come up with a healthcare bill. But as Mike Papantonio of Air America's Ring of Fire points out, the only way to improve our current insurance-industry-based healthcare system is to repeal the McCarren-Ferguson Act, which allows insurance companies to fix prices and drop clients for no reason. By forcing this industry to operate on the same playing field as the rest of the economy we could all be looking at lower premiums and better coverage.

Default Papantonio: Sarah Palin, The Perfect Voice for the GOP

Seven in ten Republicans say they would vote for Sarah even though less than 30 percent of all American voters polled said she was qualified to be President. The good news for Republicans is that they have finally found their true voice in Palin. Since their defeat in 2008, they have been trying to arrive at a state of equilibrium. Pundits on all sides were asking, who are the Republicans? Who best represents the face of the GOP? Anyone asking those questions should feel a sense of relief because Palin is telling us, Look no further. “It are I.”
