Lowell,
Just making sure you know the 'go to last post', 'quote', and even 'edit' buttons have disappeared this New Year.
Cheers!

I got'em all.
Must be something personal gannon...... Or a REAL bad hangover
I have all of those buttons. It must be a government conspiracy against you if you don't have them. They must be trying to limit your speech.
If I were you I'd check to see if there is a big black van with dark tinted windows and various antennae on the roof parked in front of your house.
What browsers are you all using?
I'm on Firefox on a MacBook running 10.4.11 OS X.
Still nothing but a Post Quick Reply and Go Advanced button, none of the usual go to last post on the main pages in the last post column...nor the edit button within my own posts...nor the quote function in other's posts.
I did no updates, and if there are any lurkers in vans around, they must be bored out of their minds...and as I always say, they don't need to follow any unethical orders. [[They have to answer to a higher power than their human authorities and superiors.)
So what gives, does ANYONE else have any difficulties with this?!
Thanks for the humor, though, it is always appreciated!
There IS a new options "quote message in reply?" which I don't remember seeing before.
Geez, I DID go to my preferences page here, but didn't change anything...as far as I know.
I have all those options, Firefox on PC w/Windows XP
I just hit "QR" as usual.... again Gannon Is the problem.... = )
I think Julian Assange is the dark power behind this. He is likely to suck up all the sloppy correspondence from your mail app and reveal to all of humanity what you are up to...What browsers are you all using?

Good Lord, I hope SOMEONE takes up my PR...I'm not very good at self-promotion.I think Julian Assange is the dark power behind this. He is likely to suck up all the sloppy correspondence from your mail app and reveal to all of humanity what you are up to...
I finally re-booted everything, and it still won't work.
Same with even USING that 'Quote message in reply'.
Lowell? Help me...unless YOU are the agent of this delay, LOL.
Cheers all. Hope your day happens as well as mine will.

Gannon, go back to your profile and under 'Settings and Options' 'Edit Options' scroll down to "Miscellaneous Options" "Message Editor Interface" and make sure it's not set to Basic Editor-Simple Text Box.
Use either WYSIWYG or Standard Editor
Found that already, thanks.
I'm in WYSIWYG.
Which is true. What I see IS what I get. Damnit!
It's me in the black van. Bwaaahaaaaaaaaaaa.................
Gannon, in case it helps, here's the source code that I see for the QUOTE and QR buttons that I see at the end of your first post on this thread. If you can compare it to the source code that you're getting, it might help isolate the source of the problem.HTML Code:<div style="margin-top: 10px" align="right"> <!-- controls --> <a href="newreply.php?do=newreply&p=211554" rel="nofollow"><img src="images/buttons/quote.gif" alt="Reply With Quote" border="0" /></a> <a href="newreply.php?do=newreply&p=211554" rel="nofollow" id="qr_211554" onclick="return false"><img src="images/buttons/quickreply.gif" alt="Quick reply to this message" border="0" /></a> <!-- / controls --> </div>
These are the buttons that look like and .

Here's something. I normally use Internet Explorer. I brought up this page in Firefox and it wouldn't display any of the QR buttons.
Can you try Internet Explorer?
The source code that Firefox is reporting is missing the code for the QR button:HTML Code:<div style="margin-top: 10px" align="right"> <!-- controls --> <a href="newreply.php?do=newreply&p=211554" rel="nofollow"><img src="images/buttons/quote.gif" alt="Reply With Quote" border="0" /></a> <!-- / controls --> </div>

I am in Firefox and I have both buttons.
Thanks, I gave up on IE many years ago, and am now on a MacBook.
I will try Safari in a few.
I even only get this "These are the buttons that look like and ." in that post above!
I DID just go through an update of Firefox. I really, truly hate this sort of bullshit.
Get a computer stable...and Ray1936 comes along with his whammer-jammer EM mojo...LOL.
IT WAS ADBLOCK PLUS!
They specifically were stopping DetroitYES buttons...how curious is THAT?!
I'm back to full misfunctionality. Yay!
Conjunction junction, what's your FUNCTION...
The buttons just re-appeared your statement, too.
Phew.
Wow. I'd really like to know why it thought that stuff was an ad. No part of it looks like any part of an ad to me.
That's great. The next time this happens to someone, we'll have a suggested fix all ready.
Oh how I long for the days before computers went commercial. No ads, no spam, no viruses. As soon as they added money to the picture, the whole industry went toxic. It will never be what it could have been. Sigh.
Just seeing this thread. Sorry, been busy. "All's well that end well."
