Hi
thinking about changing cell phone plans. Does anyone have Consumer Cellular for their cell phone? And how is the coverage area? Thanks and Happy Holidays!

I've been using Consumer Cellular for years. They use AT&T towers. Up home, Bay Mills, AT&T can be spotty but I have not had any trouble finding a spot to get a signal. I do have to watch that Canada does not pick up the signal. You can get international roaming for a reasonable amount if needed. I've heard that can happen downtown by the River here as well. We travel all over the country and have run into a few blind spots but usually in a few miles it picks up again. I-75 up north, south Georgia, I-95 in the mountains for example. The east side of my house on the Space Coast, Florida gets better signal than the west end. I get 4G most everywhere it is available.
I have one of the lower priced plans and they will text me if I get close to the limit so I can upgrade till month end.
I use Republic Wireless and pay $25 per month for unlimited calling, texting, and 1GB of data. They use the Sprint network.
