Looks like the Bing Administration has just verified what Stormin' Norman and myself had been saying on here all along regarding the impact that the proposed layoffs of 381 DDOT employees would have had on DDOT bus service.

Earlier today, Karen Dumas, spokesperson for the administration, announced that many of the DDOT layoffs have been rescinded. The Free Press quotes Dumas as saying, "After looking at the numbers we determined that 381 layoffs would have devastated the system."
