Lowell, how can I get a print of Charest Street - Hamtramck?
Take a look at Hamtramck.
I recently left Woodbridge after a long stint there [[and elsewhere) and purchased in Hamtramck. What was appealing to me, as a first time homeowner, is the size of the...
I'm surprised that this building is still vacant. Prime territory, beautiful facade, and if I recall, the foyer is in tact and quite lovely as well.
What was this building's last use? Have I...
Actually, the second two photos didn't take. But, hey, nice floors.
And stop me if I'm wrong, but your building looks a tad more ornate than the homes of Hamtramck I'm thinking of.
Looking for some historic photos of homes in Hamtramck as they were originally built.
Mostly curious about exterior styling, especially considering the lack of variety of styles on most blocks.
Was Hypestyles hacked by Danny?
I cannot make sense of this gibberish.
Heh.
"DETROIT — Embarking on their first tour, members of ClearlyxStraight are pretty sure it’s safe to park their van in this dark, crime-ridden alleyway overnight."

I dunno, she's not looking well.
Are we talking about the former Apac Paper building behind MCS?
I think there was a thread about this a couple of years ago. They're tearing up Woodward for the M1, and looks like someone decided to salvage a unique piece of our history. Yes, the last picture...
My brother who lives out of town was put up in The Met in Troy tonight. Sent me this video of critters:

Anyone ever stay here before? I wouldn't...
I think there's a fairly low barrier to entry in this neighborhood, while still being dense enough to be interesting. The houses are approximate in size to Woodbridge or parts of Southwest, not as...
I went by these houses a couple of weeks ago and took some updated photos:

It's really bizarre to see how many houses / apartments have been or are being renovated in...
No kidding? I actually sent the Auburn an email about six months ago asking if they were planning to put trees in. Glad to see they got smart. That stretch of Cass was so unnecessary harsh.
The NYT article this morning about North End had this interesting paragraph:
"The Duggan administration has started forcing owners to fix up their abandoned or run-down properties or lose them,...
Took a spin through this neighborhood again. I saw sign for Vanguard CDC. Could that be the developer?
Yea, I'm pretty interested to see how the red duplex turns out. Looks like they're doing away with the upper porch. Could be an interesting transformation.
The house in the first image would fit...

I agree. Rare tree-lined streets as well. Intact blocks [[for the most part) and just a few blocks away from New Center Commons and Grand Blvd.
I'll try to get pictures after work today.
Has anyone else noticed the half dozen houses being renovated on Philadelphia between the Lodge service drive and 3rd?
One has a completely new facade that looks beautiful and contemporary. The...
I caught a blurb that Steak Hut is turning into something else, and felt fortunate that I got to experience it as it was.
I love me a good diner, and goddamn it, this was a good diner.
Quash the Cush!
Whatever happened to running people out of town? Is that not a thing anymore?
Parsons is this street, not Selden, just to clarify.
The rendering is also deceiving, because it shows the gap between the Ellington [[where the current surface lot is) remains, but the corner of...
I'm assuming it's in this place?
