That's pretty awesome, but who the heck would place that bet at only 50:1? :confused:
That's what I thought. I would expect the odds to be much higher that 50-1.
True. Other casinos had up to 100-1 on the same bet. For what it's worth, all the sports books got hurt on that safety, but still eaked out a small win over-all. One operator told the Las Vegas Review-Journal, "We're not eating steak, but we got a ham sandwich out of it."
