Beneath the doomed Hudson's Store sits the historic National Theater.


National Theater

One of the premier theaters of the 1920's, the National Theater on Monroe street in the heart of downtown went the path of many other downtown theaters -- decline to cheap movie house, then to a strip joint and finally to abandonment.
