The Book Tower and the Cadillac Hotel

Crowned with antennae and microwave relay dishes, the finely detail upper floors of the 36 story Book Tower present a picture of the skyscraper in the information age.

Information processing by massing workers into vertical spaces has been replaced by empty buildings whose heights are useful for connecting those workers by electronic means.
