Intact but crumbling are the spectacular ceilings that cover the immense volume of the vacant theater. The only seating remaining is in the balcony,  in the upper background, sits above the sunny lobby.  To the right were stairways and restrooms.


The Michigan Theater

Once seating 4050, the Michigan was Detroit's second largest theater venue of its day.
